It’s simple. For every person you sponsor who joins between now and June 30, you’ll automatically be entered into the drawing. Receive one entry per recruit, so, the more people that join, the better your chances.
Rules for the 2008 ASCE Membership Drive
- This contest is open to all ASCE members in good standing. Employees of ASCE and members of their immediate families and households are not eligible.
- To receive credit for each new member, the sponsor's name and ASCE member identification number must appear in the "Sponsor" section of the application.
- The recruitment of Student Members will not be counted in this contest.
- A new/reinstated member is officially credited to the sponsor when the candidate is accepted for membership and dues have been received.
- All applications and membership dues must be received between Oct. 1, 2007 and Sept. 30, 2008, to be counted toward the 2008 Membership Drive.
- The eligible member, as determined by ASCE, who recruits the most members during the contest period, shall receive $700 cash.
- Sponsorship prizes will vary quarterly and will be announced by ASCE prior to each quarter. Sponsors will be eligible for quarterly prizes or entries into quarterly prize drawings, as announced by ASCE throughout the Drive. Sponsors will receive one entry into prize drawings for each new paid member recruited during the designated time period. Sponsors will receive one entry into monthly prize drawings for each valide name and e-mail address they supply.
- Contest rules and prizes are subject to change by the ASCE Membership Committee. By entering the contest, members agree that ASCE's decisions are final and not open to challenge.
- No purchase necessary to enter or win. The number of entries received determines odds of winning. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. To receive an entry without sponsorship, send a 3 x 5 card labeled "ASCE Member-Get-a-Member Drawing" to ASCE, 1801 Alexander Bell Drive, Reston, VA 20191. The card must include the entrant's complete name, member identification number, e-mail address, and mailing address. Limit: one mail-in entry per person. ASCE reserves the right to change the prizes offered.
